Sometimes the Best Trade is No trade, Go Save the Reef

By October 9, 2019 My Journey

Hello everyone,

Another week, another late post.. I apologize. Midterm tomorrow, more tests from doctors, and boring markets. I have been studying like crazy as usual. How are you guys this week?

Save The Reef

I have been chipping away at the 6k+ video lessons on and Timothy Sykes’ “50 Minutes to Save the World” documentary popped up as one of the lessons. I watched it again today and I decided to go out and visit Olympia’s beach for the first time. I went and bought biodegradable garbage bags which were near impossible to find and set off to the beach. I became preprepared and I was shocked to see so much glass, signs stating how hazardous the beach, water, and animals have become. I am appalled and shocked. I saw dead baby fish, dead baby crabs, dead clams both adult and baby clams. Glass replaced the sand. I am so sad. My son will not be able to enjoy playing in the sand or the ocean as he grows up. It is crazy how this video Timothy Sykes produced it true. I had to get out and see. It is SO bad that I can’t even go into the ocean to see how bad it is due to such toxicity.

PLEASE GO WATCH: 50 Minutes To Save The World
Go out and clean up random trash! follow @SaveTheReef and @Karmagawa on Instagram and visit their website and purchase some sustainable merchandise to help support these beautiful charities who are doing their best to fix the worlds mess.

I haven’t been making many trades, instead I have been making spreadsheets on patterns I am tracking. I definitely like watching these OTC’s on first green days with high volume for an overnight hold. I have also been tracking multi month breakouts with strong volume. To come ahead, I am excited for EARNINGS SEASON!!!!

Stay Ahead

On Monday, I wasn’t able to trade when premarket came around or market open as I have denied my Mac OS updates for months as I didn’t want anything to change. Well, as StocksToTrade updates , I had to give in as my current OS wouldn’t support this amazing trading software. Always keep up to date so you really avoid any FOMO (fear of missing out) fortunately, the trading wasn’t very great and I chose to study.

I am sorry for not talking about a lot of stuff as I have been mostly studying instead of trading. I hope you all are enjoying October and are not over trading. Keep working on perfecting your strategies and feel free to follow me on Twitter @TessaLamping and ask me more questions and leave comments. I am also proud to announce that I have been mentioned on a few more of Timothy Sykes blogs so make sure you are signed up to his email list and receive his notifications for when he writes new blog posts! It is always an honor to see myself mentioned as it keeps me motivated. Having eyes on me and people watching my journey definitely helps me stay on track. I am definitely happy to be one of his few female students!

Thanks again for reading my blog, sorry it’s so short. Please do your part in reducing your plastic use and do something amazing for your planet and help us keep it alive for our future generations to enjoy.  Have a great week!

I want to provide a small disclaimer:

I am in NO way a professional nor do I claim to be. I do not manage anyone’s money nor do I want you to follow my trades. My posts are solely for entertainment purposes and for myself to become more transparent on my trading journey. I use these posts to track my own progress. I do NOT recommend you try my strategy or jump into trading without a verified guru/teacher. I am an untrained trader who has been practicing for 2 month and a few days with paper trading on StocksToTrade. I am up +$1300 for the month of June 27th – September. By the time you read this I may or may not have traded the stocks I post about. I will not guarantee you will profit from trading as 90% of traders lose. To become consistently profitable is not a typical result. I am in NO way responsible or liable for your decisions or actions as a trader. I, again, am not professional so there will be grammar and spelling errors. Just because I suggest something does not mean your results will be the same as mine if you try. My suggestions are what I am doing, have tried, and what may have or may have not worked for me.
