HAPPY Labor Day Everyone!

I hope you all were able to get a bunch of studying done with markets being closed. I have been looking over my monthly recap. How did August end for you guys? Were you paper trading, just starting into real money, just learning, or have been trading for a bit now? Make sure to leave comments below, I love hearing about everyones journey!

Overall I lost three trades for a total loss of $-53.00.
I had nine green profit days totaling my gross profit of $+702.00.
Currently, this is my second month of paper trading and I have a gross of just over $1,300.00 according to profit.ly .
While paper trading on StocksToTrade, I have to use theoretical commissions so I removed -$88.00 as an idea of what would be taken.
After losses and commissions deducted I am left with +$561.00 for this month.
Keep in mind that I am giving myself a $2,000 account even though StocksToTrade allows you to start with $30,000. I am trying to use this software as if I were trading with real money. My position sizes have varied between 25-100 shares per trade. With such an unpredictable market lately, I am proud to have such success!

I have been reading Timothy Sykes Millionaire Mentor Update for this week and he stated that September and October are very difficult months for newbies, so be careful!!!! My plans for this month are to stick to Dip Buys. This is the pattern I really want to master before I begin to master any others. So far I have done pretty well. I am consistently profiting and I only plan to follow my rules a lot better this month. I have been studying chart after chart and have written some more rules to follow. I plan on being more disciplined this month and still don’t want to set any profit goals.

Rules: (all important)

1. Cut losses quickly
2. Follow the steps to planning a trade
3. Always use Sykes Sliding Scale
4. Try to hold slightly longer for profits
5. Stick to my trading plan
7. Trade like a business
8. Track everything and stay transparent
9. Pay attention to VOLUME
10. Track stocks on watch list, not just the daily trades

Here are some of my rules to carry me through this month of September. Always refining, refining, refining! I will right about my process more next month. Until then, good luck!!

I also want to mention that everyone should go get their StocksToTrade gear and Support Karmagawa! I just received my Karmagawa t-shirt and StocksToTrade! Thank you for the gear I absolutely love it and am so happy I am able to help support such a wonderful charity and trading software both contributed by such a caring teacher, Timothy Sykes! Make sure to help Save The Reef by supporting Karmagawa and being aware of the products and waste used in your daily life!

I wish everyone the best for September and hope you have your trading plans prepared!

I want to provide a small disclaimer:

I am in NO way a professional nor do I claim to be. I do not manage anyones money nor do I want you to follow my trades. My posts are solely for entertainment purposes and for myself to become more transparent on my trading journey. I use these posts to track my own progress. I do NOT recommend you try my strategy or jump into trading without a verified guru/teacher. I am an untrained trader who has been practicing for 1 month and a few days with paper trading on StocksToTrade. I am up +$500 for the month of July and 1 day of June. By the time you read this I may or may not have traded the stocks I post about. I will not guarantee you will profit from trading as 90% of traders lose. To become consistently profitable is not a typical result. I am in NO way responsible or liable for your decisions or actions as a trader. I, again, am not professional so there will be grammar and spelling errors. Just because I suggest something does not mean your results will be the same as mine if you try. My suggestions are what I am doing, have tried, and what may have or may have not worked for me.
